New Samsung Galaxy Z Series Foldables in-store Accessory Spend Voucher

Vodacom Campaign 2024

  1. Vodacom (Pty) Ltd (“Vodacom”) is running the Vodacom “Post-Paid In-store accessory spend Voucher” Promotion (the “Promotion”) where Customers will receive an in-store accessory spend Vouchers when upgrading/signing up to a Vodacom contract offering one of the participating selected qualifying handsets, from 8th October - 6th November 2024 – during the pre-order campaign. The in-store accessory spend Voucher varies depending on the applicable device model.
  2. All Customers during the term of the Promotion agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
  3. The Vodacom In-store accessory spend Voucher enables a Customer to purchase only original Samsung accessories only when upgrading / signing up to selected qualifying handsets during the promotional pre-order period while instore:

Note: The in-store accessory spend Voucher varies depending on the device model purchased.

The in-store accessory spend Voucher is available to new and upgrade contracts; and via in-store only.

  • R1,000 in-store accessory spend voucher when the Customer upgrades / signs up to the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 5G.
  • R500 in-store accessory spend voucher when the Customer upgrades / signs up to the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 5G.
  1. The in-store accessory spend Voucher must be utilized during the sign-up / upgrade process strictly in-store at the time of upgrade or sign-up to qualifying handsets during the pre-order period.
  2. The Accessory spend Voucher:
  3. Is redeemable instore at the time of upgrade or taking up a new contract.
  4. Can only be used to purchase original Samsung accessories only.
  5. Can be redeemed against original Samsung accessories only.
  6. Is available on selected promotional deals only for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 & Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6.
  7. Cannot be redeemed as cash.
  8. Is not transferrable and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers, promotions and Vouchers.
  9. Can only be redeemed against one spend per deal.
  10. Customer cannot take up accessories that are not in stock at the time of redemption of the in-store accessory spend Voucher as the accessory spend Voucher is only valid at the time of upgrade / sign up.
  11. In an instance where the Customer purchases accessories that are more than what the in-store accessory spend Voucher is, the Customer is liable to pay the outstanding extra amount.
  12. In an instance where the Customer spends less than the value of the In-store accessory spend Voucher, he/she acknowledges that there will be no change given and that he/she forfeits the remaining balance.
  13. Should the Customer spend less than the value of the accessories with the in-store accessory spend Voucher - he/she is allowed a R21.00 shortfall only e.g.: In-store accessory spend Voucher is R200.00, the Customer cannot select accessories less than a total amount of R179.00.
  14. In-store accessory spend Voucher are only valid during the specified pre-order deal period.
  15. Subject to availability of the specified device/deal :-
  16. Customer cannot request an extension on the in-store Accessory Spend Voucher.
  17. Customer can add as many accessories to the value of the specified Voucher/Spend amount.
  18. Customers cannot use the in-store accessory spend Voucher to purchase handsets, tablets, tablets, airtime and data.
  19. Should Customer return, or swap the handset, Customers are also need to return all accessories that were redeemed at the time of the initial purchase before they can swap out or return stock.
  20. Should Customers fail in doing so they will not be awarded the accessory in-store accessory spend Voucher of the new purchase.

Terms and Conditions

General

  1. The Vodacom Fibre Broadband standard terms and conditions are applicable to these terms and conditions unless explicitly mentioned within the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Integrated Contracts terms and conditions. These standard terms and conditions are available at https://myvodacom.secure.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/terms/fibre/vodacom-fibre

  2. The Vodacom Fibre Broadband Integrated Contracts price plans will be available on Vodacom self-build, Openserve and Vumatel (trenched and aerial) networks only. 

Provision of Services 

  1. After signature of the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Integrated Contract, an installation date of the Vodacom Fibre Broadband service will be provided to you.

  2. After installation of the Vodacom Fibre Broadband service you will receive a 24 (twenty four) month Vodacom Fibre Broadband Contract with mandatory value added services (VAS) and/or equipment. 

  3. You will be allocated with a new Vodacom Fibre Fixed voice number, you will not be allowed to port an existing fixed voice number to the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Integrated Contract. 

  4. You will not be allowed to delete the mandatory VAS and/or equipment provided with the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Integrated Contract price plan.  

  5. You will be allowed to purchase additional VAS for the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Integrated Contract only once the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Integrated Contract has been activated, i.e. upon installation of the Vodacom Fibre Broadband service.

Migrations

  1. On the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Integrated Contract price plan, you will be allowed to migrate to a higher Vodacom Fibre Broadband price plan. The migration is only applicable to the Vodacom Fibre component (data and line speed only) of the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Integrated Contract.

  2. If you migrate to a higher Vodacom Fibre Broadband price plan you will carry over the discount associated with the initial Vodacom Fibre Broadband Integrated Contract. 

  3. You will not be liable for the standard migration fee when you migrate to a higher Vodacom Fibre Broadband price plan. 

  4. You will not be allowed to migrate to a lower Vodacom Fibre Broadband price plan. 

  5. You will not be allowed to migrate to any other Vodacom Fibre Broadband price plan.  If you want to cancel the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Integrated Contract, and thereby cancel the mandatory VAS and/or equipment, the existing cancellation rules will apply.  The existing cancellation rules are available at https://myvodacom.secure.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/terms/fibre/vodacom-fibre

Internet starter pack - SIM only terms and conditions

  1. The SIM only internet starter pack includes:

    • Sim card

    • Data bundle allocation

  2. The Data Bundle is pre provisioned on the enclosed SIM card

  3. The SIM card will be provisioned with the Power Bonus tariff plan.

  4. The default Power Bonus tariff plan will allow the customer to make voice calls as well.

  5. The voice calls will be billed at the current Power Bonus tariff rates.

  6. The Data Bundle allocation will be activated upon activation of the SIM. 

  7. The monthly applied bundle will be a Broadband Standard once-off bundle allocation which is included as part of the starter pack purchase.

  8. The customer will receive an SMS confirming the allocation of each monthly bundle

  9. The out of bundle rate will be R0.99 per MB VAT Inclusive.

  10. The first Data Bundle allocation will be loaded upon activation of the SIM card.

  11. The Data Bundle allocation will be reloaded on the Customers SIM Card every 30 days (from initial allocation) for a 12 month duration

  12. Multiple additional once-off Data Bundles may be added to this bundle. 

  13. If the customer number gets deactivated then customer will forfeit all benefits of the starter pack

  14. If a customer migrates the prepaid number to contract/Top up then all the benefits will be forfeited

  15. Standard roaming rates apply

  1. The internet starter pack includes:

    • 3G modem

    • Sim card

    • Data bundle allocation

  2. The Data Bundle is pre provisioned on the enclosed SIM card.

  3. The SIM card will be provisioned with the Power Bonus tariff plan.

  4. The default Power Bonus tariff plan will allow the customer to make voice calls as well.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Hybrid and Post-paid customers will be able to purchase any number of RT15 ad hoc discounted bundles at a time, subject to their account credit or bank card limit.
  2. Your purchase will need to be of a minimum value of R6.
  3. The RT15 adhoc discounted bundles can be purchased via the credit card for both Post-paid and Hybrid customers.
  4. Your bundle purchase will not be subject to pro-rating.
  5. You will be able to purchase any number of RT15 adhoc discounted bundles even when a recurring bundle is active.
  6. Any bank charges incurred during the unsuccessful attempt to deduct funds from the bank card will be for your account and you will be liable for payment.
  7. There is no additional service fees from Vodacom but your applicable bank will charge the relevant bank charges/card transactions fees for normal card purchases.
  8. The RT15 adhoc discounted bundles are valid for a period of up to 30 calendar days from the date that you made the purchase (the "Validity Period").
  9. You can extend the Validity Period of the Bundles you initially purchased (the "Initial Bundles") by purchasing additional Bundles of the same size (the "Additional Bundles") before the Initial Bundle have expired. The purchase of the Additional Bundles will result in the Validity Period being extended and calculated from the date that you purchased the Additional Bundles. Any unused data from this bundle upon expiry will be rolled over, free of charge for the next 30.
  10. If you already have an active bundle, the oldest bundle will be depleted first.
  11. You will not be able to cancel your RT15 adhoc discounted bundle purchase on the VodaPay App.
    1. In order to cancel the RT15 adhoc discounted bundle, call 082 1940 or the Account Manager.
    2. You will be asked a few questions in order to verify you are the account or cardholder.
  12. The customer will not be allowed to cancel if the RT15 adhoc discounted bundle has been used.

Vodacom Fibre Broadband Services Interim LTE Access

  1. Vodacom Fibre Broadband Services Interim LTE General Terms and Conditions
  • “Uncapped” Vodacom Fibre Broadband Interim LTE Service Description
    • The Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan will be available to customers on Vodacom Fibre self-build and Bitstream fibre networks. 
    • The Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan will only be available where the Fibre build is in a non-live fibre area status at the time that the Vodacom Fibre Broadband order has been approved.
    • The Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access will not be sold as a standalone product, you must have an approved Vodacom Fibre Broadband price plan to qualify for the Interim LTE Access. 
    • You may not resell the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access or use the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access for any commercial activities or where the service is on sold to other users.
    • The Vodacom Fibre Interim Access price plan will be available to Vodacom Fibre Broadband customers on: 24 month, 12 month and month-to-month price plans.
    • The Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access will only be available as a month-to-month price plan. 
    • The Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access will only be provided in Vodacom self-build and Bitstream fibre networks where sufficient LTE coverage has been confirmed. 
    • You can order the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan as part of the initial Vodacom Fibre Broadband order or thereafter subject to condition 2. 
    • If you are an existing Vodacom Fibre Broadband customer you will not be eligible to apply for the Vodacom Fibre Interim Access price plan or where fibre is already available at the requested address.
    • If you are an existing Vodacom Fibre Broadband customer you will be eligible to apply for the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan provided fibre has NOT been installed at the requested address and meets the qualifying criteria. 
    • You will not be allowed to purchases any additional value added services on the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan. 
    • The Vodacom Fibre Broadband Services that are rendered through the Interim LTE Access solution are provisioned on a “Best Effort” basis, and accordingly no guarantees can be provided. Vodacom shall use its best endeavours to ensure that the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Service is provided in accordance with the service description, and the subscriber acknowledges that there are no guaranteed service levels parameters that are associated with this Service.
    • “Best Effort” means a service that does not have associated service level metrics, and whilst certain results are not guaranteed, reasonable efforts will be made to achieve the best results as expeditiously as possible.
  • Charges 
    • Subscribers signing up for the Interim LTE Access qualify for one month’s free subscription that is calculable from the date that the Interim LTE Access solution has been installed and is activated.
    • Your monthly subscription for the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access will be billed in advance.
    • If you are activated during the month you will be billed a pro-rata of the monthly subscription fee for the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan. 
    • Your first invoice will reflect the charges for the current month and the subscription for the month in advance. 
  • Equipment 
    • The following equipment will be delivered to you in order to provide the service, the delivery will be provided free of charge: 
      • Router
      • USB modem
      • SIM card 
    • Vodacom reserves the right to change the equipment used to provide the service from time to time. 
    • The router and USB modem will be preconfigured by Vodacom with the required LTE configurations.
    • You will be required to do a self-install of the preconfigured equipment. 
    • The router, USB modem and SIM supplied for the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan will be reused for the Vodacom Fibre Broadband service.
    • A two-year warranty will apply to all customer equipment provided by Vodacom. 
    • If the equipment supplied for the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan is damaged and falls out of the warranty process you will be liable for the costs of the replacement equipment. 
    • The Interim LTE Access product will be automatically converted to a Mobile Backup Zero product, using the same device once the Fibre installation has been completed.
    • As part of the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan, you may be issued with a new or refurbished Customer Premise Equipment.
  • Service Offering and Pricing
    • Vodacom reserves the right to amend the service offering and pricing from time to time.
    • Vodacom reserves the right to change the Customer Premise Equipment used to provide the service from time to time.
  • Sales Channels
    • The ordering and activation of the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access will be available on the following sales channels:
      • Customer Care (082 1904)
      • Vodacom Retail Stores
      • Business Partners
  • Support Channels
    • Customer Care on 082 1904 will provide support for Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access.
  • Migrations 
    • Migrations between the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access Capped and Uncapped price plans will be allowed. 
    • You will not be allowed to migrate from any other Vodacom tariff plans to the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Interim Access price plan.
    • You will not be allowed to migrate from the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan to any other Vodacom tariff plans.
  • Usage Parameters
    • The usage parameters set out in this document are designed to assist in protecting the Vodacom Network, the Service, Customers and the Internet community as a whole from improper and/or illegal activity over the Internet, to improve service and to improve service offerings.
    • As stipulated in the Acceptable Use Policy, Vodacom reserves the right to monitor usage and apply certain restrictions.
    • Any stated speeds and uninterrupted use of the Service are not guaranteed and actual speeds vary based on the amount of traffic on the internet, content on the particular website, or by the overall performance and configuration of the computer connected to the Service and will likely be lower than the speeds indicated during peak hours.
    • This document is not intended to replace or supersede the Acceptable Use Policy.
    • Some protocols will receive priority over the Vodacom Business network and are seen as business-critical applications.
    • These protocols include:
      • HTTP
      • TTPS
      • SMTP and POP3
      • IMAP
      • FTP
      • TELNET
      • SSH
    • The following protocols are deemed non-mission critical and shall receive the lowest priority on the Vodacom network:
      • Peer-to-Peer
      • BitTorrent
      • Gaming
  • Cancellations 
    • The Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan will be cancelled immediately when your Vodacom Fibre Broadband service has been installed and activated.
    • You may cancel the Vodacom Fibre Broadband order prior to the installation and activation of the Vodacom Fibre Broadband service.
    • A change in the Fibre build roadmap where Vodacom no longer determines it is feasible to roll-out fibre. You will be notified thirty (30) days in advance regarding the mandatory cancellation where the Vodacom Fibre build roadmap has changed.
    • You can request the cancellation of the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan, subject to a thirty (30) day notification period.
    • You may cancel the Vodacom Fibre Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan service without cancelling the existing Vodacom Fibre Broadband order.
    • If you are active on the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan and you cancel the Vodacom Fibre Broadband order prior to installation of the Vodacom Fibre service you will be liable for the cost of the router and USB modem which is supplied as part of the Vodacom Fibre Interim LTE Access price plan.
    • The remainder of the costs associated with the router and USB modem (applicable where the USB modem was not paid for upfront) is determined as follows: (12 months - month in which contract is cancelled) X (router / USB modem cost /12).

Home Internet 5G Data Contract

Terms and Conditions

  1.  Vodacom reserves the right to suspend your service in the event that we suspect that you in any way abuse the service or if you use devices that are not compliant with ICASA specifications to access the services.
  2. Vodacom reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and where such change is material Vodacom shall provide you with reasonable prior written notice before implementing such change.
  3. The Home Internet 5G data service (the "Service") is available as a Top Up or Contract payment type.
  4. The Home Internet 5G Data tariffs are offered in two variations: as SIM-only deal or bundled with a home router.
  5. The Service is only available on 24 month and 36 month contracts. These are not available as month-to-month contracts.
  6. You will be billed on a monthly basis for the total subscription amount for the Service, including device costs if applicable, as well as any other Value Added Services ("VAS"), bundle purchases or out of bundle usage.
  7. After your contract period for the Services has expired, your contract will continue on a month-to-month basis.
  8. You may terminate your Service at any time but such early cancellation will be subject to a payment penalty determined by Vodacom (the "Cancellation Fee").
  9. Vodacom may charge you up to 75% of the balance of the outstanding Service fees (the "Balance") as the Cancellation Fee. The Balance is determined as follows: the monthly subscription amount times by the remaining months of the contract.
  10. Upon early cancellation of the Service, you will also have to pay all outstanding amounts in respect of the Services and/or Apparatus related to the Services in addition to the Cancellation Fee.
  11. You may provide notice of cancellation a month in advance of the cancellation by calling our Customer Care on 082 135.
  12. If you choose to cancel your Service between the 1st and the 3rd of the month the cancellation will only be effective at the end of that particular month.
  13. If you choose to cancel your Service after the 3rd of the month the cancellation will be pended to the end of the following month.
  14. You will retain your data allocation until the Service cancellation is effective.
  15. You are able to do a SIM-swap while on these tariffs.

Home Internet 5G Devices

  1. The Service is only compatible with selected home routers. Therefore, it is not compatible and will not work with mobile phones, dongles and/or MiFi routers.
  2. If you select a SIM-only tariff, the SIM will only work with a compatible home router. The responsibility to use a compatible whitelisted home router from Vodacom’s approved list lies solely on the customer.

  1. If you select a SIM-only tariff, Vodacom can offer you to purchase a compatible whitelisted home router outright. If you select this option, any warranty, guarantee, customer support and service and/or education pertaining to this router can and will be offered to you from Vodacom.
  2. If you select a SIM-only tariff, but choose to use your own compatible home router then, any warranty, guarantee, customer support and service and/or education pertaining to this router will not be offered to you and/or covered from Vodacom.

Contract Activation & Use

  1. This Service is available for activation via the following channels:
  • In-store (Retail & Omni-channel)
  • Saves Desk (Call Centre)
  • Vodacom Online
  • Vodacom Direct Sales
  • J4U Upgrades
  • Retail App
  1. This Service is only available for use on the 5G and 4G Vodacom network.
  2. When you use the Service, you have to insert the Home Internet 5G SIM card into one of the eligible 5G routers. Please note that the 5G routers are the only applicable routers that the Home Internet 5G SIM cards will allow connectivity onto the Vodacom network on.
  3. You are only guaranteed access to the Vodacom network in the specific area that the Service is activated on and access in any other geographic area is not guaranteed.
  4. You may change the location in which you access the Service if your new address has sufficient 5G or 4G coverage. If there is no 5G or 4G coverage in your new address then you may have to cancel your Service and incur the Cancellation Fees.
  5. Please note that if your new address is only 4G covered, you will connect onto the 4G network at 4G related speeds.

Voice, SMS & MMS Services

  1. The Service does not include SMS, MMS and Voice services.
  2. You will only be able to receive SMS's as part of the Service.
  3. After you have reached the final FUP on the tariff and you have no other active data bundles available, the Service will be hardlocked and your data usage will be suspended. You may use out of bundle data only if you opt into out of bundle charges using the Vodacom portal/app. The out-of-bundle rate is 44c.
  4. You may purchase multiple additional data bundles on the Home Internet 5G Service.
  5. The following channels will be available for additional data bundle purchases:
    • Vodacom Online (Portal and App)
    • Financial Institutions
    • Vodacom Stores
  6. If you purchase additional bundles on the Top Up billing option, the cost of the additional bundles will be deducted from your airtime or credit card.
  7. If you purchase additional bundles on the Post-paid billing option, the cost of the additional bundles will be added to your monthly bill.
  8. These tariffs are subject to a monthly Fair Usage Policy (as stipulated below). Once you reach the first FUP on the Unlimited Home Internet 5G Service you will be throttled down to lower speeds, until you reach the second FUP, after which your data usage will be hardlocked until the next month.

  1. You will receive usage notifications as you approach the FUP of your tariff and when you reach the hardlock limit of the Home Internet 5G Service.
  2. If you activate the Home Internet 5G Service in the middle of a calendar month the full availability of unlimited data will apply, however the cost of the contract will be prorated.

Data Transfer

  1. You will not be able to transfer data to other customers from the Home Internet 5G Service.

Balance View-throughs

  1. You can view your data usage on:
    • Vodacom Online
    • Customer Care systems
    • Tobi

Migrations

  1. You can migrate to any other price plan contract option and as a result of this migration you will retain all your data allocation.
  2. If you migrate to a lower price plan you will be liable for a downward migration fee.
  3. Migrations between Postpaid contracts are effective immediately and all other migrations will be pended until the end of the month and the new price plan will only take effect at the beginning of the next consecutive calendar month.
  4. If you migrate to another price plan, your contract period for the Service will remain unchanged.
  5. You may not migrate from another data contract to the Service.

Upgrades

  1. You may upgrade into or out of the Service

Exclusions

  1. You may not use data sharing SIM cards for the Service.
  2. The data allocation for the Service cannot be used for roaming.

Terms and Conditions:

Vodacom Payments Services Company and Vodacom (Pty) Ltd (collectively called “Vodacom”) is running the VodaPay Clear My Cart Competition where new and existing VodaPay followers stand a chance to win R500 paid into their VodaPay wallets.

All participants during the term of the Competition agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

Duration

  1. The Competition is open to all new and existing VodaPay social media followers from 21 May (the “Start date”) – 30 May  2025 (the “End Date”).
  2. The duration of the Competition may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of Vodacom.
  3. Customers must complete all the following actions to qualify:
    • Execute on the specific stipulated action on the VodaPay social media platforms.
  • Download VodaPay
  • Share a screenshot of the cart you want cleared in the competition section.
  • Follow VodaPay and use #VodaPayClearMyCart.

Eligibility

  1. Only entries received during the Competition period as stipulated in clause 1 above will qualify as potential winners.
  2. The Competition is only open to natural persons (at least 18 years and older). Entries received from business accounts held by legal persons (amongst other Corporates and SMEs, etc.) are excluded from participating and winning in the Competition.
  3. This Competition is only open to new and existing VodaPay social media followers that complete the required entry mechanics during the stipulated times.
  4. Employees, directors and agents of Vodacom Group Companies and all participating stores, their immediate families, life partners, business partners and associates and any person directly involved with the sponsoring, devising, production, management or marketing of this Competition are NOT eligible to participate in this Competition.
  5. Participants must reside in South Africa and be in possession of a valid South African identity document or permanent residence permit or temporary residence permit valid for a period exceeding 3 (three) months for the Republic of South Africa and valid at the End Date.

Valid Entry

  1. To stand a chance of winning R500 in the Competition, -
  • Execute on the specific stipulated action on the VodaPay social media platforms.
  • Download VodaPay.
  • Share a screenshot of the cart you want cleared in the competition section.
  • Follow VodaPay and use #VodaPayClearMyCart.

  4. Data transfer speeds are not guaranteed and are dependent on network availability and utilisation.

Prize draw

  1. The winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries who meet all the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions. The verified winners will be notified within three (3) working days after he / she has been selected and verified as a winner.

Winners will be selected at random. The selected winners will be announced on VodaPay’s social media platforms.

Winner Validation

  1. All the information provided or related to this Competition shall be managed, captured and approved by Vodacom.
  2. Vodacom will share personal details of the respective winners, such as name and contact number with a Vodacom approved third party agency, (Ogilvy), who will notify the respective winners that they have won in the Competition, and you hereby agree to such disclosure as is necessary to effect prize fulfilment.
  3. Vodacom (and / or ‘Ogilvy’) will use reasonable efforts to contact the winners via direct message on their social media profile, or via a phone call based on the contact details provided by the participants to participate in the Competition.
  4. Vodacom (and / or ‘Ogilvy’) shall attempt to contact the winners for a period of 3 (three) normal working weekdays after their names have been drawn and verified as winners. The winners will be contacted during normal working hours, between 8 (eight) in the morning and 5 (five) in the afternoon.  Winners will be advised of arrangements in respect of prizes at the time of contacting the selected winners.
  5. Should a participant not be available on the contact details provided during the timeframe stipulated above or rejects, forfeits or declines acceptance of the prize, that person's right to the prize will be deemed to have been waived and the prize will be forfeited. Vodacom reserves the right to then award the prize to the next randomly drawn participant.
  6. The claim for any prize will be subject to security and validation, and Vodacom reserves the right to withhold any prize until it is satisfied that the claim by a particular winner is valid. The selected winners must be able to identify themselves, in a manner determined by Vodacom, as the qualifying entrants to the Competition and must comply with the required validation procedure, determined by Vodacom, in order to claim any prizes, failing which such winner will forfeit the prize, and the prize will be awarded to the next selected qualifying entrant.
  7. Notwithstanding the fact that the prizes vest in the winners immediately upon the determination of the results, in the event that the required documentation from a particular winner has not been received at the agreed cut-off date communicated to the winner, or no effort is made on the part of any of the winners to make special arrangements to meet the deadline set by Vodacom, such prize will be forfeited. Vodacom then reserves the right to award the prize to the finalist that is next in line.
  8. The winners’ name and location will be displayed on VodaPay social media platforms at the platform’s discretion.
  9. If only one winner in the Competition: Vodacom shall request the winner’s consent in writing to his / her image and/or likeness being used and published by Vodacom in connection with the Competition for a period of 12 (twelve) months after he / she has been announced as the winner. The winner may decline the use of his / her image and/or likeness by Vodacom.

If more than one winner in the Competition: Vodacom shall request the winners’ consent in writing to their image and/or likeness being used and published by Vodacom in connection with the Competition for a period of 12 (twelve) months after they have been announced as winners. Prize Delivery

  1. Winner will be contacted via direct message on the relevant social media platform. Winner to share full name and contact details.
  2. Cash to be transferred to winners’ VodaPay wallet. (Wallet needs to be expanded/upgraded)
  3. If a winner cannot accept a prize for any reason whatsoever, the prize will be awarded to the next selected entrant.
  4. All risks and ownership of the prizes shall pass to the winners on transfer/delivery thereof and hence all of Vodacom’s obligations in regard to the Competition as well as in regard to the prizes shall terminate. Collection of prizes stipulated below:

Personal information

  1. User data collected via the Competition will not be used for any other purpose than for execution of the Competition.
  2. User data collected via entry for this Competition will be stored for as long as it is legally required to and in accordance with Vodacom’s Privacy Policy, http://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/terms/privacy-policy.

General

  1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the participant or the promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
  2. The judges’ decision on any aspect of the Competition including the allocation of the prizes will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Competition and/or the Terms and Conditions, Vodacom’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  4. Vodacom may refuse to award a prize if entry procedures or these Terms and Conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices. Vodacom is entitled in its entire discretion to reject any participant for any reason and will not be obliged to notify participants that they are rejected. 
  5. Vodacom and/or any other person or party associated with the Competition, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors and any of its personnel involved in the Competition, shall not be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either participation in the Competition or from claiming the prize.
  6. Vodacom is not liable for any technical failures affecting participation and / or prize redemption process of the Competition. In addition, neither Vodacom nor its agents shall be responsible for any loss or misdirected entries, including entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems affecting participating in and/or the prize redemption process of the Competition.
  7. Vodacom, its directors, employees, agents and distributors, are not responsible for any misrepresentation (whether written or verbal) in respect of any prize nor in respect of any warranties, guarantees or undertakings given by any person other than Vodacom itself.
  8. If Vodacom is required by law to alter or cancel any aspect of the Competition or to terminate it as a result of changes in legislation, or for any reason whatsoever, it will have the right to terminate the Competition being offered, with immediate effect and without notice. In such event all entrants hereby waive any rights which they may have against Vodacom and its associated companies, agents, contractors and/or sponsors.
  9. All information relating to the Competition which is published on any marketing material will form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between such marketing material and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

REDEMPTION OF THE REWARD

  • Upon verification and activation of a Customer’s upgrade or new contract sign-up , the qualifying Customer will receive communication in the form of an SMS to the activated Vodacom contract number.
  • The qualifying Customer will receive their SMS containing the Sorbet digital voucher within 24 (Twenty-Four) – 48 (Forty-Eight) hours after they upgrade or sign-up for the qualifying deal during the deal-period.
  • Vodacom reserves the right to extend or curtail the promotional period for any reason deemed valid.

THE SORBET DIGITAL VOUCHER IS GOVERNED BY THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • The digital voucher is valid for 3 (three) years from date of issue.
  • Based on the qualifying device, the customer’s vouchers will be provided in either of the following denominations:
  • R500 (Five Hundred Rand)
  • R300 (Three Hundred Rand)
  • For in-store redemptions, Sorbet will only accept Sorbet digital vouchers in the form of an SMS. The customer must present the SMS in a Sorbet Store at till point and present a South African ID or Driver’s license.
  • The Customer will be required to present the Sorbet digital voucher as payment for their Sorbet purchases.
  • The Sorbet digital voucher cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
  • No cashback will be given as change.
  • The Sorbet digital voucher cannot be replaced.
  • The Sorbet digital voucher value will remain until the balance is either depleted or the expiry date is reached, whichever occurs first.
  • Purchases will be deducted from the amount until the value reaches zero.
  • The Sorbet digital voucher can be used at all Sorbet Branches.
    • These branches are Sorbet Salon, Sorbet Drybar, Sorbet Nail bar, Sorbet Man, Sorbet Skin venues or standalone Candi & Co. nationwide.
  • The Customer can check their remaining balance at any till point in a Sorbet store.
  • The Sorbet digital voucher is redeemable for treatments and/or products offered by Sorbet up to the value of the Sorbet digital voucher.
  • The Sorbet digital voucher may not be used to make payments into any Sorbet Accounts, Clicks Accounts / loans, visa or master card accounts; utility accounts; Sorbet Man nor Candy & Co Stores).
  • Qualifying Customers will receive their SMS containing the Sorbet digital voucher within 24 (Twenty-Four) to 48 (Forty-Eight) hours post their upgrade or sign-up.
  • The Sorbet digital vouchers are subject to Sorbet’s regular terms and conditions, which are subject to change, unless otherwise specified in this section.

  • This Promotion is only open to natural persons 18 (Eighteen) years and older. 
  • Neither Vodacom nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors, and any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming the gift card.

VODACOM AT HOME : PREPAID -  T and Cs

  1. Customers must have a valid Vodacom prepaid SIM card and a Vodacom At Home MSISDN ( cell phone number)  in order to qualify for Vodacom at Home services and products 

  2. All Vodacom At Home prepaid customers are pre-provisioned with a 1 GB recurring bundle 

  3. All Vodacom At Home prepaid customers will receive their first 1GB data allocation once the Vodacom At Home device and SIM  is activated 

  4. Data bundle purchases cannot be refunded either partially or in full 

  5. A customer migrating or porting  to a non-Vodacom at Home tariff will forfeit all data bundles  and  recurring bundle services

  6. The monthly recurring bundles will be allocated provided a customer has recharged their airtime account with the applicable amount

  7. Vodacom At Home prepaid customers cannot change their tariff to any other Vodacom prepaid tariff 

  8. Vodacom At Home prepaid customer will have exclusive access to Vodacom at Home prepaid data bundles

  9. Vodacom At Home monthly  recurring bundles are valid for 30 days from date of allocation 

  10. Vodacom At Home customers will be able to recharge their airtime accounts using any of the existing Vodacom recharge channels 

  11. Only Vodacom At Home customers who register their alternative number will receive data usage notifications to their alternative number. 

  12. Customers with insufficient funds in their airtime account will not be allocated a data bundle on the recurrence date

  13. Vodacom will check your account to deduct the recurring bundle cost from the customers airtime account. 

    • Should a customer not  have sufficient funds then the date on which the billing is successful will become the new billing date .
