Terms And Conditions

  1. Introduction
  • HONOR Scooter Competition (“Competition”) is organised and managed by HONOR Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd (“HONOR”), including affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively referred to as the “Organiser”).
  • The Competition is open for entry by all South African residents of 18 years and older with a valid South African identity document or Smart Card.
  • By entering the Competition, all Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which will be interpreted by the Organiser and the Organiser’s decision regarding any issue will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • This Competition will run from 5th July 2024 00:00 to 4th  August 2024 23:59, (both dates inclusive) (the “Competition Period”)
  • The Organizer will be running a Competition whereby Competition Participants who purchase the HONOR product (handset and tablet only) during the Competition Period will participate automatically to stand a chance to win 1of 30 HONOR CHOICE Scooter. 1(one) HONOR CHOICE Scooter valued at R9999 (Nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine rand), (the “Competition Gift”).
  • Competition Gift is limited to 30 units.
  • This Competition is not applicable to employees and agents of the Organiser.
  1. Competition Mechanics
  • To successfully fulfillment for the Competition and benefit from the Competition Gift, Competition Participants must
    • Purchase an HONOR product (handset and tablet only) from any Vodacom online/offline store.
    • After purchasing the HONOR product (handset and tablet only) during the Competition Period at Vodacom online/offline stores within the Republic of South Africa, Competition Participants automatically to stand a chance to win 1of 30 HONOR CHOICE Scooter.
    • 30 winners will be randomly selected by Vodacom from eligible consumer data.
  • All personal information of the Competition winners will be strictly made use of to provide the Competition Gift and will be stored in a secure repository and not transferred to any third party save for the purposes of delivery of the Competition Gift, Competition winners agree to their personal information being shared with third parties for this purpose.   • Once all information has been collected and successfully verified, the Competition winner will receive the Competition Gift via delivery.
  1. Terms and Conditions Related to the Competition Gift
  • Participants who purchase the HONOR product (handset and tablet only) from Vodacom online/offline stores within the Republic of South Africa are automatically to participate in the competition.
  • 30 winners will be randomly selected by Vodacom from eligible consumer data.
  • HONOR arranges Competition Gift delivery after receiving winner information.
  • The Competition Gift must be delivered within 60 days of receipt of winner information.
  1. Should the HONOR product be returned, the winner will be liable for the competition gift or the value thereof wish shall immediately become payable to the organisers.

General Terms and Conditions

  • The Competition is valid for the Competition Period.
  • The Competition Period may be extended or reduced at the discretion of the Organiser.
  • The Competition, the Competition Gifts, and any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organiser. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organiser. No Competition Participants shall have any recourse against the Organiser as a result of any alterations of the terms and conditions.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to extend, reasonably shorten or suspend the time period of the No Competition Participants shall have any recourse against the Organiser as a result of any alterations of the terms and conditions. for technical or commercial or operational reasons or for the greater public good or due to a “force majeure” event or generally for any reason whatsoever within their sole discretion, on condition that the Organiser notify the No Competition Participants shall have any recourse against the Organiser as a result of any alterations of the terms and conditions. Participants in a manner that is expedient according to its best ability.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to amend the rules and/or terminate this Competition immediately at any stage, whether required as a result of changes in legislation, or if required by any national, provincial or municipal authority, or within the sole discretion of the Organiser for any reason (recognized in law). Notice of such termination shall be published on the Organiser Competitions Website.   • In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Competition and/or the Terms and Conditions, the Organiser’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • All Competition Participants indemnify the Organiser, their associated and subsidiary companies, and their directors, officers and employees, against any and all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from the Competition Participants participation in any way whatsoever in this Competition.
  • South African law shall govern these Competition rules and the courts of South Africa shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
