Terms And Conditions

1. Introduction

• HUAWEI Pura 70 Series (“Promotion”) is organised and managed by Huawei Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Huawei”), including affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively referred to as the “Organiser”).
• The Promotion is open for entry by all South African residents of 18 years and older with a valid South African identity document or Smart Card.
• By entering the Promotion, all Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which will be interpreted by the Organiser and the Organiser decision regarding any issue will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
• This Promotion will run from 7^th June 2024 00:00 to 4^th July 2024 23:59, (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”) ( If the customer buy in Vodacom, the promotion period will end on the 4th July 2024 23:59) .
• If the HUAWEI Pura 70 Series is purchased on the online Huawei store, the Promotional Gift will be delivered free of charge by the Organiser’s courier partner to an address within the Republic of South Africa together with the HUAWEI Pura 70 Series.
• Participants who purchase the HUAWEI Pura 70 Series from other channels being Telkom, Cell C, Vodacom and MTN stores within the Republic of South Africa aside from the method of purchase as mentioned in clauses 1.5 are required to claim through My Huawei APP.
• The Organizer’s will be running a Promotion whereby Promotion Participants who purchase the HUAWEI Pura 70 Series in accordance with clauses 1.5 and 1.6 during the Promotion Period will receive 1(one) Huawei MatePad SE valued at R4499 (four thousand four hundred and ninety nine rand) each, which stocks last (the “Promotion Gift”).
• Promotion Gift is limited to stock availability.
• This Promotion is not applicable to employees and agents of the Organisers where staff special deals, other special deals and enterprise special deals are available.

2. Claiming the Promotion

• To successfully register for the Promotion and benefit from the Promotion Gift, Promotion Participants must
  • Purchase a Huawei Pura 70 Series in accordance with clauses 1.5 during the Promotion Period.
• Participants who purchase the HUAWEI Pura 70 Series from other channels aside from those mentioned in clauses 1.5 are required to claim through My Huawei APP.A Participant is required to collect the HUAWEI Pura 70 Series from any Cell C, Vodacom, Telkom or MTN store within the Republic of South Africa. Thereafter the Promotion Gift will be delivered to an address within the Republic of South Africa free of charge by way of courier within 14~21 Business Days after complying with the steps as set out in clause 2.1.3 below.
• After purchasing the Huawei Pura 70 Series during the Promotion Period from other channels being Telkom, Cell C, Vodacom and MTN stores within the Republic of South Africa, Promotion Participants must redeem the Promotion Gift by:

2.1.3  If Participants purchase the HUAWEI Pura 70 Series as per clause 1.6 from other channels being Telkom, Cell C, Vodacom and MTN stores within the Republic of South Africa, the Organizer’s will conduct a verification exercise to authenticate whether the Promotion Participants have complied with the Promotion criteria as indicated at 2.1. above. Once successfully verified and authenticated, the Promotion Participants will receive an email with regards to the Promotion Gift which will be delivered free of charge to an address within the Republic of South and by way of courier within 14~21 Business Days after complying with the Promotion provisions above.

• All personal information of the Promotion Participants will be strictly made use of to provide the Promotion Gift and will be stored in a secure repository and not transferred to any third party save for the purposes of delivery of the Promotional Gift. 3. Terms and Conditions Related to the Promotion Gift

• Participants who purchase the HUAWEI Pura 70 Series from other channels being Telkom, Cell C, Vodacom and MTN stores within the Republic of South Africa aside from that mentioned in clause 1.5 are required to claim through My Huawei APP as per the steps set out in clause 2.1.3
• The Promotion Gift must be activated by going to the MyHuawei App and following the steps as set out in clause 2.1.3
• Should the Promotion Participant fail to activate the Promotion Gift within the Promotion Period the Promotion Gift will be forfeited.
• Should the Huawei Pura 70 Series be returned, the Promotion Gift (s) are also required to be returned, failing which the Organizer’s will not accept return of the Huawei Pura 70 Series.

4. General Terms and Conditions

• The Promotion is valid for the Promotion Period while stocks last.
• Claim for the Promotion Gift must be completed before 30^th June 2024 23:59.
• The Promotion Period may be extended or reduced at the discretion of the Organiser.
• The Promotion, the Promotions Gift, and any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organiser. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organiser. No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organiser as a result of any alterations of the terms and conditions.
• The Organiser reserve the right to extend, reasonably shorten or suspend the time period of the Promotion for technical or commercial or operational reasons or for the greater public good or due to a “force majeure” event or generally for any reason whatsoever within their sole discretion, on condition that the Organiser notify the Promotion Participants in a manner that is expedient according to its best ability.
• The Promotion, the Promotion Gift, and any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time during the Promotion, and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organiser. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organisers No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organiser as a result of any alterations of the Terms and Conditions.
• The Organiser reserves the right to amend the rules and/or terminate this Promotion immediately at any stage, whether required as a result of changes in legislation, or if required by any national, provincial or municipal authority, or within the sole discretion of the Organiser for any reason (recognized in law). Notice of such termination shall be published on the Organiser Promotions Website. In such event, all Participants waive any rights that they may have/purport to have in terms of this Promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organiser whatsoever.
• In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Promotion and/or the Terms and Conditions, the Organiser’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
• All Promotion Participants indemnify the Organiser, their associated and subsidiary companies, and their directors, officers and employees, against any and all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from the Promotion Participants participation in any way whatsoever in this Promotion.
• South African law shall govern these Promotion rules and the courts of South Africa shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
