Terms and Conditions

  1. By taking up the Vodacom Ticket bundle offer (the "Service"), you agree to these terms and conditions. 
  2. Vodacom Ticket will be available to you by dialling *123# on the Just For You platform ("platform") or via Just For You on the Vodacom App. On the Just For You platform, you will be exposed to Services specifically tailored to your usage behavior.
  3. The Service provides you with data to stream or to sync and/or to access the applications (the "Standard Applications") listed in each category in clause 8 of these terms and conditions (the "Ticket Categories") as per the bundle allocations stipulated in clause 15 of these terms and conditions. 
  4. The Service will be available to you as a subscription service valid for 1 hour, 1 day, 7 or 30 days ("subscription period"). You may also elect to use the Service on a month-to-month basis (the "Recurring Service") in which instance you will be able to cancel the Service at any time before the expiry of the current month of you using the Service. To deactivate the recurring bundle, customers need to call the customer call centre by dialling 082 135 
  5. If you elect to use the service on a month-to-month basis (the "Recurring Service"), you will qualify for a discount. The discount applied is at the sole discretion of Vodacom and Vodacom reserves the right to amend the discounts and without notice to you 
  6. When opting in or activating a discounted recurring Ticket bundle, the bundle is added as part of the respective price plan and charged to bill. 
  7. The Service is available to all new and existing Prepaid, Hybrid (Top-up) customers and Postpaid.  
  8. Vodacom reserves the right to terminate or change the Service at any time and for whatsoever reason. Vodacom further reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion and without notice to you. You have the responsibility to at all times familiarise yourself with the amended Terms and Conditions.  
  9. The Service is available for use in all compatible smartphone devices, laptops and tablets. 
  10. During the subscription period you will be able to stream or get access the following Standard Applications set out in the Ticket Categories below:

  11. NXT LVL Social will only be available to registered NXT LVL customers only by dialling *128#. 
  12. The Service provides you with full access to all the Standard Applications in each of the Ticket Categories.
  13. The Standard Applications specifically exclude any service that involves video or voice calling including but not limited to voice and video calling on WhatsApp and Facebook or any other with similar functionality.  
  14. Vodacom reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time to amend the Ticket Categories and the Standard Applications in each Ticket Category according to their identifiable data usage. 
  15. You may only use the Service for personal use. You may not use the Service for commercial purposes nor may you use it to set up as a personal hotspot. Vodacom reserves the right to suspend the Service if in the opinion of Vodacom, you misuse or abuse the Service in any way whatsoever.  
  16. Once the Service is depleted and you wish to continue using any of the Standard Applications, you shall do so using your existing data bundle as per your existing data tariff plan.

  18. If you use the Service to access any of the Standard Applications, your existing in-bundle usage and any other loaded data will not be consumed until the Service is depleted or expires.
  19. You will not be able to buy additional Services in a Ticket Category if the Service in that same Ticket Category has not yet been depleted or used up.  However, once the Service is depleted, you will be able to purchase a new Service even if it has not yet reached its expiry date. 
  20. You can check you bundle balance for the Service by dialling *135#, and choosing option 1 - balances. 
  21. The terms and conditions and subscription process required for each Standard Application shall at all times be applicable and shall constitute an agreement between you and the provider of the Standard Application. Vodacom shall not be liable for any unavailability, faults glitches, bugs or technical issues with the Standard Applications. Furthermore, Vodacom shall not be held liable for any damages or loss howsoever arising that you may suffer as a result of you using the Standard Application.  
  22. If you activate a Recurring Service at any time after the first day of the calendar month and you do not have an existing Recurring Service, the new Recurring Service allocation will be pro-rated for the remainder of the calendar month and thereafter, the full allocation will be allocated on the first day of every subsequent calendar month.  
  23. If you activate a Recurring Service at any time after the first day of the calendar month and you do have an existing Recurring Service on the same line, the new Recurring Service will only take effect on the first day of the next calendar month. 
  24. You may purchase a Recurring Service while you have an active once-off Service with an active recurring Ticket bundle will be able to purchase once - off Ticket bundles

  26. `If you use any other application that is not a Standard Application or if you use the Standard Applications outside of the premise of the Service, will be charged as standard traffic as per your existing tariff plan.  If you follow a link outside the Standard Applications, normal data rates will apply as per your existing tariff plan.  
  27. The Standard Applications may contain third party advertisements, content, materials, and/or links to third party services and / or websites that are not owned or controlled by Vodacom. Vodacom assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party websites or applications. In addition, Vodacom does not and cannot censor or edit the content of any third party website. When you visit third party websites, Vodacom encourages you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of the other websites. By using the Service, you expressly release Vodacom from all liability arising from your use of any third party website or as a result of any third party services. 
  28. You cannot use the Services when you are roaming. Whilst roaming the use of the Standard Applications will be charged at your existing tariff plan. 
  29. You can view your activated Services  by dialling 135# and by calling the Vodacom contact centre on 082 135 
  30. If you do an upward price plan migration, whilst you have an existing recurring active service, such service shall be carried over to the new price plan.  
  31. If you do a downward price plan migration, whilst you have an existing recurring active service, such service will be forfeited.  
  32. You cannot deactivate the Service before it expires. 
  33. In the event that any of your user data is collected whilst using Service, the user data will be stored for as long as Vodacom is legally required to and in accordance with Vodacom's Privacy Statement, https://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/privacy-policy/terms. If there is no legal requirement, the collected information will only be stored for as long as it is needed for Vodacom to be able to provide the Service and has a legitimate interest in processing such user data. 
  34. Vodacom reserves the right to terminate the Services immediately and without notice to you in the event that the Service is held to be or becomes unlawful in terms of applicable laws. In such event you hereby waive any rights which you may have against Vodacom and acknowledge that you will have no recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against Vodacom. 
  35. In the event of a dispute concerning any aspect of the Service and/or these Terms and Conditions, Vodacom's decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.  
  36. Vodacom makes no warranties, expressed or otherwise through its employees or agents unless such warranties are reduced into writing and contained in these Terms and Conditions.

Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to any Discounted Recurring Data bundle:

  1. The Discounted Recurring Bundles will be applicable to qualifying Postpaid and Hybrid customers.
  2. You may purchase or subscribe to the Discounted Recurring Bundles through the following channels:
  • USSD *135#
  • Vodapay App
  1. The payment for your Discounted Recurring Bundles will be added to your bill or deducted from your credit card. The bundle will be valid for 30 days upon purchase and will be allocated every 30 days until such time that you opt out of the service.
  2. Any bank charges incurred during the unsuccessful attempt to deduct funds from the bank card will be for your account and you will be liable for payment.
  3. There are no additional service fees from Vodacom though your applicable bank will charge the relevant bank charges/card transactions fees for normal card purchases.
  4. If you activate a Discounted Recurring Bundle in the middle of a calendar month, and there is no existing recurring bundle active, the data will be pro-rated for the remainder of that month; thereafter the full data allocation of the recurring bundle will be allocated on the 1st day of every subsequent calendar month until such time that you opt out of the service.
  5. You can only have one active Discounted Recurring Bundle of the same size at a time.
  6. If you activate a Discounted Recurring Bundle in the middle of a calendar month, and there is already a Discounted Recurring Bundle active on the same line, the new Discounted Recurring Bundle will only take effect on the 1st day of the next calendar month.
  7. The Discounted Recurring Bundles will follow the First in First Out order of consumption. In the case of a Recurring Bundles being active on an integrated price plan, such as RED Flexi, Core or VIP; the offer default data bundle that forms part of the price plan will be consumed first before any other data bundles.
  8. You will not be able to cancel your Discounted Recurring Bundle purchase on self-service, however, to opt out of your discounted recurring bundle you will need to call 082 1940. You will be asked a few questions to verify you are the accountholder or cardholder.
  9. When you opt out of receiving Discounted Recurring Bundles, bundles that have already been allocated to you will not be forfeited and will remain active until 23:59 of the validity date.
  10. If your Discounted Recurring Bundle expires before the bundle is depleted, data usage will continue at the out of bundle rate, applicable to the tariff.
  11. If you have an active bundle that has depleted but not expired, all data usage will be stopped by default or, you will only be able to use data at out of bundle rates if you have opted in to current out-of-bundle data charges.
  12. You can purchase unlimited once-off Mobile Internet data bundles.
  13. Your Discounted Recurring Bundles do not apply to data roaming.
  14. Data transfer will apply, whereby you could transfer the bundle to another Vodacom customers. Please visit the data transfer terms and conditions for full details: Data Transfer Terms and Conditions | Vodacom
  15. Your Postpaid and Hybrid Discounted Recurring Bundles are valid for a calendar month and will roll over for 1 additional calendar month free of charge.
  16. The Discounted Recurring Bundles will not be allocated any Night Owl Data.
  17. Your bundle usage will be based on the volume of data you send and receive, and not on the amount of time, you spend connected to the Internet.
  18. Vodacom may amend Discounted Recurring Bundle prices by providing you with reasonable. notice prior to any price increase.
  19. Vodacom reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and where such change is material Vodacom shall provide you with reasonable prior written notice before implementing such change.

Vodacom “Together we care, together we share” Competition

Terms and Conditions:

Vodacom (Pty) Ltd (“Vodacom”) is running the Vodacom “Together we care, together we share” Competition (the “Competition”) where customers stand a chance of winning their share of R78 372.20 (seventy-eight thousand three hundred and seventy-two Rand and twenty cents) in prizes by purchasing any 3, 4 or 5G Vodacom device and registering on the NXT LVL program.

All participants during the term of the Competition agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

Duration

  1. The Competition is open to all existing Vodacom pre-paid and new pre-paid customers and who purchase a Vodacom 3, 4 or 5G device, activate a Vodacom SIM card and recharge with a minimum of R12.00 (twelve Rand) airtime from 09h00 on 10 July 2025 to 23h59 on 10 August 2025 (the “End Date”) (“Competition Period”).
  2. The duration of the Competition may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of Vodacom.

Prizes

  1. Participants stand a chance of winning:
  • 1 (one) of 130 (one hundred and thirty) Vodacom essential hamper consisting of various promotional items and everyday household essentials worth R500.00 (five hundred Rand) each (“Hamper Prize”);
  • in addition to clause 3.1 above, customers who are between the ages of 18 (eighteen) and 25 (twenty-five) years and have registered to the NXT LVL Rewards program stand a chance to win a PS5 Disc with 2 (two) controllers worth R13 372, 20 (thirteen thousand three hundred and seventy-two Rand and twenty cents) (“PS5 Prize”).
  • The total value of the Prize is R78 372.20 (seventy-eight thousand three hundred and seventy-two Rand and twenty cents) (“the Prize”). 

Eligibility

  1. Only entries received during the Competition Period as stipulated in clause 1 above will qualify as potential winners.
  2. The Competition is only open to natural persons at least 18 years and older. Entries received from business accounts held by legal persons (amongst other Corporates and SMEs, etc.) are excluded from participating and winning in the Competition.
  3. Any participant under the age of 18 shall present their parent / guardian’s written consent to enter the Competition at Vodacom’s request.
  4. Only participants who are using SIM cards that have been RICA registered are eligible to win the Competition. Each owner of a SIM card(s) is responsible to comply with South African law by RICA registering their SIM cards.
  5. Employees, directors and agents of Vodacom and all participating stores, their immediate families, life partners, business partners and associates and any person directly involved with the sponsoring, devising, production, management or marketing of this Competition are not eligible to participate in this Competition.
  6. Participants must reside in South Africa and be in possession of a valid South African identity document or permanent residence permit or temporary residence permit valid for a period exceeding 3 (three) months for the Republic of South Africa and valid at the End Date.
  7. In the event that the user of the mobile phone (i.e. the participant in the Competition) is not the person that is responsible for payment of the participating mobile phone account/ charges, then the prize will be awarded to the person that is responsible for payment of the participating mobile phone account/ charges.

Valid Entry

  1. In order to stand a chance of winning in the Competition, -
  • participants must purchase any 3, 4 or 5G Vodacom Device, RICA and activate their SIM card instore and recharge with a minimum of R12.00 (twelve Rand) Vodacom airtime during the Competition Period. Each R29.00 (twenty-nine Rand) airtime recharge qualifies for 2 (two) entries into the Competition;
  • In addition, youth participants between the ages of 18 (eighteen) and 25 (twenty-five) years need to register to the NXT LVL Rewards program to be eligible to win the PS5 Prize.
  1. Participants may not enter multiple times.
  2. There are no additional charges for participating in the Competition. Standard data costs apply as per the user’s Service Provider and existing price plan for data usage.
  3. Vodacom shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the winners for entering the Competition or in claiming any prizes, where applicable. 
  4. Data transfer speeds are not guaranteed and are dependent on network availability and utilisation.

Prize draw

  1. The winner (or winners) will be randomly selected on or after the End Date from all eligible entries who meet all the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions. The verified winner (or winners) will be notified within, seven (7) working days after he / she has been selected and verified as a winner.
  • Winners be drawn via a randomizer draw.

Winner Validation

  1. All the information provided or related to this Competition shall be managed, captured and approved by Vodacom.
  2. Vodacom will share personal details of the respective winners, such as name and contact number with a Vodacom approved third party agency, who will notify the respective winners that they have won in the Competition, and you hereby agree to such disclosure as is necessary to effect prize fulfilment.
  3. Vodacom will use reasonable efforts to contact the winners telephonically on the contact details provided by the participants to participate in the Competition.
  4. Vodacom shall attempt to contact the winners for a period of 7 (seven) normal working weekdays after their names have been drawn and verified as winners. The winners will be contacted during normal working hours, between 8 (eight) in the morning and 5 (five) in the afternoon.  Winners will be advised of arrangements in respect of prizes at the time of contacting the selected winners.
  5. Should a participant not be available on the contact details provided during the timeframe stipulated above or rejects, forfeits or declines acceptance of the prize, that person's right to the prize will be deemed to have been waived and the prize will be forfeited. Vodacom reserves the right to then award the prize to the next randomly drawn participant.
  6. The claim for any prize will be subject to security and validation, and Vodacom reserves the right to withhold any prize until it is satisfied that the claim by a particular winner is valid. The selected winners must be able to identify themselves, in a manner determined by Vodacom, as the qualifying participants to the Competition and have to comply with the required validation procedure, determined by Vodacom, in order to claim any prizes, failing which such winner will forfeit the prize and the prize will be awarded to the next selected qualifying participant.
  7. Notwithstanding the fact that the prizes vest in the winners immediately upon the determination of the results, in the event that the required documentation from a particular winner has not been received at the agreed cut-off date communicated to the winner, or no effort is made on the part of any of the winners to make special arrangements to meet the deadline set by Vodacom, such prize will be forfeited. Vodacom then reserves the right to award the prize to the finalist that is next in line.
  8. The winners’ name and location will be displayed on (vodacom.co.za/competition_winners) after a period of 7 (seven) working days subsequent to notification of the winners.
  9. Vodacom shall request the winners’ consent in writing to their image and/or likeness being used and published by Vodacom in connection with the Competition for a period of 12 (twelve) months after they have been announced as winners. The winners may decline the use of their image and/or likeness by Vodacom.

Prize Delivery

  1. Vodacom South Gauteng Region and the publicist, Publicis Commerce will conduct a winner handover in the respective Vodacom store for each winning customer at a time and date suitable for Vodacom and the winner.
  2. No prize is transferable or exchangeable and may not be redeemed for cash.
  3. If a winner cannot accept a prize for any reason whatsoever, the prize will be awarded to the next selected participant.
  4. All risks and ownership of the prizes shall pass to the winners on transfer/delivery thereof and hence all of Vodacom’s obligations in regard to the Competition as well as in regard to the prizes shall terminate.

Personal information

  1. User data collected via the Competition will not be used for any other purpose than for execution of the Competition.
  2. User data collected via entry for this Competition will be stored for as long as it is legally required to and in accordance with Vodacom’s Privacy Policy, http://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/terms/privacy-policy.

General

  1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the participant or the promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
  2. The judges’ decision on any aspect of the Competition including the allocation of the prizes will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Competition and/or the Terms and Conditions, Vodacom’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  4. Vodacom may refuse to award a prize if entry procedures or these Terms and Conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices. Vodacom is entitled in its entire discretion to reject any participant for any reason and will not be obliged to notify participants that they are rejected. 
  5. Vodacom and/or any other person or party associated with the Competition, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors and any of its personnel involved in the Competition, shall not be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either participation in the Competition or from claiming the prize.
  6. Vodacom is not liable for any technical failures affecting participation and / or prize redemption process of the Competition. In addition, neither Vodacom nor its agents shall be responsible for any loss or misdirected entries, including entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems affecting participating in and/or the prize redemption process of the Competition.
  7. Vodacom, its directors, employees, agents and distributors, are not responsible for any misrepresentation (whether written or verbal) in respect of any prize nor in respect of any warranties, guarantees or undertakings given by any person other than Vodacom itself.
  8. If Vodacom is required by law to alter or cancel any aspect of the Competition or to terminate it as a result of changes in legislation, or for any reason whatsoever, it will have the right to terminate the Competition being offered, with immediate effect and without notice. In such event all participants hereby waive any rights which they may have against Vodacom and its associated companies, agents, contractors and/or sponsors.
  9. All information relating to the Competition which is published on any marketing material will form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between such marketing material and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
