Terms and Conditions:
- Vodacom (Pty) Ltd and Vodacom Payment Services (Pty) Ltd (“Vodacom”) is giving you the opportunity to enter the “Jump Jump” Promotion (the “Promotion”) whereby you stand a chance to win mobile devices, cash prizes into your VodaPay wallet, 3rd party prizes or VodaPay discount coupons (a “Coupon”), also referred to as the “Rewards” or “Grand Prizes”.
- These terms and conditions shall govern your participation in the Promotion.
- Duration
- The Promotion will run from 10 December 2025 to 30 June 2026 (the “End Date” and the promotion period will be referred to as the “Promotion Period”).
- The Promotion Period may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of Vodacom.
- Eligibility and Gameplay
- You are eligible to participate in the Promotion if:
- you meet the eligibility requirements of the VodaPay Application (the “VodaPay App”); and
- you meet all the requirements for opening a wallet within the VodaPay App (the “Wallet”); and
- you can access the Jump Jump game within the VodaPay app
- All VodaPay registered users are eligible to play Jump Jump, including employees, directors and agents of Vodacom and all participating stores, their immediate families, life partners, business partners and associates and any person directly involved with the sponsoring, devising, production, management, or marketing of the Promotion.
- You will receive a maximum of 5 plays per day to play Jump Jump
- If daily plays are unused, they will be forfeited at midnight and will not carry over to the next day
- Playing Jump Jump automatically enters you into the monthly draw to win a Reward and/or to win surprise and delight rewards
- Winners are selected based on the score leaderboard. Users with the highest score in the month will receive a Reward.
- At the discretion of VodaPay, additional Rewards will be allocated to other users with the top 20 scores on the leaderboard
- Three attempts (3) will be made to contact winners. If a winner is not reachable after 7 days, their prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be drawn.
- We will advise you of the Participating Merchants in writing on the VodaPay App from time to time for the duration of the Promotion Period.
- Rewards and Winner Selection
- Employees, directors and agents of Vodacom and all participating stores, their immediate families, life partners, business partners and associates and any person directly involved with the sponsoring, devising, production, management, or marketing of the Promotion are not eligible to win Grand Prizes
- If you win a VodaPay coupon with minimum spend, the coupon can only be redeemed against a transaction where the total transaction value is greater than or equal to the minimum spend amount
- If the transaction amount is more than the coupon value, the remaining amount can be paid using either a bank card and/or the VodaPay wallet.
- Payments completed with airtime, add to bill, or any other payment method not covered in 4.6 will not contribute towards the Minimum Spend.
- A Coupon reward will be in the form of an electronic Coupon that will be issued to you via SMS and/or the VodaPay App. Any Coupon you receive as a Reward will be subject to the Coupon terms and conditions that will be set out in the Coupon presented to you electronically. The Coupon terms and conditions will include information relating but not limited to:
- the Coupon validity period.
- the Coupon redemption process; and
- which Participating Merchants you may redeem the Coupon from
- Other physical prizes like mobile devices will be delivered within thirty (30) days of the winner accepting their prizes.
- To accept your prize, you must have been reachable by telephone call within the 7-day window and you must have provided a reasonable delivery address within South Africa
- You are only eligible to receive only one Reward per month for the duration of the Promotion Period.
- The Rewards available may be changed at any time at the discretion of Vodacom..
- Personal Information
- Vodacom respects the right to privacy and takes the protection of your personal information seriously. Vodacom will only use your personal information for the purposes of the Promotion as stated in these terms and conditions and in accordance with Vodacom’s Privacy Policy available on, http://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/terms/privacy-policy.
- You hereby consent to Vodacom share your personal information with third parties identified by Vodacom from time to time solely for the purpose of execution of the Promotion.
- To effect arrangements required for the coupon reward fulfilment in terms of the Promotion, Vodacom will share personal details of the respective winners, such as name and surname, contact number and banking details with a Vodacom approved third agency, for distribution of the Reward and you hereby agree to such disclosure as is necessary to affect the Reward fulfilment.
- General
- Vodacom reserves the right to suspend this promotion in the event of suspected abuse or fraudulent usage, outside of what is considered reasonable for private, non-commercial use.
- Vodacom reserves the right to suspend, cancel or convert this Promotion on reasonable notice.
- Vodacom reserves the right to change and/or expand on these terms and conditions and will provide reasonable notice of any material changes prior to such change as and when the circumstances permit.
- Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit, or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the participant or the promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA).
- Vodacom’s decision on any aspect of the Promotion including the allocation of a Reward will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- In the event of a dispute regarding any aspect of the Promotion and/or the terms and conditions, Vodacom’s decision will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Vodacom may refuse to issue the Reward if these terms and conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices.
- Vodacom and/or any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors, and sponsors and any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall not be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming a Reward.
- Vodacom, its directors, employees, agents, and distributors, are not responsible for any misrepresentation (whether written or verbal) in respect of any Reward nor in respect of any warranties, guarantees or undertakings given by any person other than Vodacom itself.
- If Vodacom is required by law to alter or cancel any aspect of the Promotion or to terminate it because of changes in legislation, or for any reason whatsoever, it will have the right to terminate the Promotion being offered, with immediate effect and without notice. In such event all entrants hereby waive any rights which they may have against Vodacom and its associated companies, agents, contractors and/or sponsors.
- All information relating to the Promotion which is published on any marketing material will form part of these terms and conditions. In the event of any conflict between such marketing material and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
