Terms and Conditions
1. The Double Your Data bundles will be available to all Vodacom Prepaid, Hybrid and Postpaid customers.
2. The Double Your Data bundles will have once-off data bundles offered to customers at discounted prices.
3. The Double Your Data bundles will be available to customers on the Just 4 You and open market platforms.
4. The Double Your Data bundles will be available on these channels:
· Vodacom Online (My Vodacom App)
5. The Double Your Data bundles will be available on these menus:
· Just 4 You Data
· 7 days
· 30 days
6. The Double Your Data bundles can be identified with the +XXMB Free, which will be the same allocation as the offer being purchased as per examples below:
· 100MB+100MB Free at Rxx (today)
· 250MB+250MB Free at Rxx (today)
· 250MB+250MB Free at Rxx (7 days)
· 1GB+1GB Free at Rxx (7 days)
· 500MB+500MB Free at Rxx (30 days)
· 2GB+2GB Free at Rxx (30 days)
7. Vodacom will determine which Double Your Data bundles will be presented to customers in the Just 4 You and open market data bundle menus. Please note that only one Double Your Data bundle will be presented per data bundle menu.
8. The Double Your Data bundles will be available in the following bundle size variants: 1 Day, 7 Days, or 30 Days.
9. All Double Your Data bundle prices are inclusive of VAT.
10. Customers will be charged for the volume of data sent and received, and not the time you spend connected.
11. No pro-ration is applied, the full allocation is always received and the full charge is always applied.
12. The cost of the Double Your Data bundles will be applied to the customers as follows:
· Deducted from airtime, airtime advance or credit/debit card for Prepaid and Hybrid customers
· Added to bill or credit/debit card for Postpaid customers
13. If a Double Your Data bundle is depleted and there are no additional active data bundles remaining all out of bundle data usage will be blocked by default. Customers can only use data at out of bundle rates if they provide explicit consent.
14. A customer is allowed to purchase multiple Double Your Data bundle offers.
15. There will be no Night Owl data allocation on these bundles.
16. The Double Your Data bundles can have their validity extended if another bundle of the same size and validity is bought while the initial Double Your Data bundle is still available for use. The validity of the Double Your Data bundle will then be extended to the validity of the bundle of the same size and validity that was bought.
17. The Double Your Data bundles cannot be used for international roaming.
18. The Double Your Data bundles can be transferred to other customers on the Vodacom network based on the terms defined in the Vodacom Data Transferred service found in the following: https://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/terms/data-bundle-terms/data-transfer
19. Customers can view the balance of their Double Your Data bundles on the following channels:
· USSD (*135#)
· Online (My Vodacom App & Portal)
20. Vodacom reserves the right to suspend the service in the event of suspected abuse where non-compliant devices as specified by the regulating body ICASA are being used on the Vodacom network
21. Vodacom reserves the right to expand on and/or amend these terms and conditions and where such change is material, Vodacom shall provide you with reasonable prior written notice prior to any such change taking effect
22. Customers who have a data line (Mobile Broadband Bundles) will not qualify for the Double Your Data bundles
23. The Double Your Data bundles will not be presented under the Hourly or 1 Hour menu (Both on USSD and My Vodacom App)
24. The Double Your Data bundles are not available for Postpaid customers under the Just 4 You Data menu, but is available for these customer through the open market Today and 30 days menu
25. The Double Your Data bundles are not available under the Until Midnight and 7 days menu on the My Vodacom App Buy journey, but is available on the USSD Today menu
