Vodacom Fibre Broadband Self Built Promotion Summary

These terms and conditions apply to the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Service on the Vodacom Self Built Network. Vodacom will run a promotion for the period 6th August 2018 to 31st January 2019 inclusive, during which period, new, eligible subscribers will be given free monthly subscriptions or zero activation charges, dependant on the package they subscribe to as stipulated below.

2. In addition to the standard Terms and Conditions above, the following Terms and Conditions apply for the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Self-Built Promotion:

2.1 This Promotion is only Valid for:

• from 6th August 2018 to 31st January 2019 inclusive

• Customers who sign up on the Vodacom self-built fibre network 

• Customers who sign up to Fibre to the Home Packages 

• Customers who sign up for a 12 month or 24 month subscriptions 

• the standard Vodacom self-built Fibre To The Home packages

2.2 This promotion is not available in conjunction with any Integrated fibre deals 

• Customers who have signed up for bundled fibre and mobile price plans are excluded from the promotion

• This promotion is not available in conjunction with any other special or promotional price plans available from Vodacom 

• This promotion is not available for any Voice or Value Added Service 

2.3 The promotional offering is applicable only to new subscribers.

2.4 Should a new customer sign up for a 24 month Vodacom Fibre Broadband contract, the customer will qualify for three (3) months FREE monthly subscription.

• Excluding Voice and Value added Services

2.5 Should a new customer sign up for a 12 (twelve) month Vodacom Fibre Broadband contract, the customer will qualify for a Zero Rated activation charge.  

• Excluding Voice and Value added Services

2.6 Promotional offer is subject to successful credit vetting and conclusion of a customer contract

2.7 A Customer who is approved for the promotional offer will be allocated the promotional benefit regardless of when the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Service is installed; during or after the promotional period

2.8 Three (3) months FREE subscription on 24 month Vodacom Fibre Broadband contracts: 

• The three (3) month FREE subscription promotion will only be available to new customers who subscribe and have a valid approved order.  

• Where a customer has subscribed to the promotion, and the Vodacom Fibre Broadband service is only installed after the promotion ends, the customer will receive the three (3) month FREE subscription from the month after the date of installation.    

• A customer who has subscribed to a 12 month or month-to-month services within the promotion period and then migrates to a 24 month Vodacom Fibre Broadband Service within the promotional period will be eligible for the 3 month free subscription. 

• A customer who has subscribed to a 24 month Vodacom Fibre Broadband contract during the promotional period and migrates to a 12 month or month-to-month within the first three (3) months will forfeit the remainder of the free monthly subscription. 

• A customer will be billed the existing monthly subscription associated to their price plan for the duration of the contract period after the three (3) months free subscription. 

• The three (3) months free promotional period will not extend the customer’s contract period.  This forms part of the initial contract term.  

2.9 Zero Rated Activation Charge for 12 month Vodacom Fibre Broadband contracts: 

• The zero rated activation charge promotion will only be available to new customers who have subscribed and have a valid approved order.    

• Where a customer has subscribed to the promotion and the Vodacom Fibre Broadband service is only installed after the promotion end date, the customer will receive the zero rated activation charge benefit on the first months invoice.    

• A customer will be billed for the existing monthly subscription associated to their price plan from inception of the fibre service.  Only the once off activation charge is zero rated 

• The promotion will not extend the customer’s contract period, this forms part of the initial contract term.  

2.10 Cancellations of any of the above will result in the cancellation clause in the standard terms and conditions being applicable.  The subscriber will then be liable for a balance of contract clawback.
