Recurring Discounted Bundles

Terms and Conditions

  1. A customer can activate & deactivate a discounted recurring discounted bundle at any time.

  2. The recurring discounted bundles can be purchased via add-to-bill, credit card for both Post-paid and Hybrid customers.

  3. Any bank charges incurred during the unsuccessful attempt to deduct funds from the bank card will be for your account and you will be liable for payment.

  4. There is no additional service fees from Vodacom though your applicable bank will charge the relevant bank charges/card transactions fees for normal card purchases.

  5. If a customer activates a recurring discounted bundle in the middle of a calendar month, and there is no existing recurring discounted bundle active, the data will be pro-rated for the remainder of that month; thereafter the full data allocation of the recurring discounted bundle will be allocated on the 1st day of every subsequent calendar month.

  6. If a customer activates a recurring discounted bundle in the middle of a calendar month, and there is already a recurring discounted bundle active on the same line, the new recurring discounted bundle will only take effect on the 1st day of the next calendar month.

  7. The recurring discounted bundles will follow the Last In First Out order of consumption. In the case of a recurring discounted bundle being active on an integrated price plan, such as uChoose Smart, Smart or RED; the offer default data bundle that forms part of the price plan will be consumed first before any other data bundles.

  8.  A customer can only have one active recurring discounted bundle of the same size at a time.

  9. If the bundle allocation of a recurring discounted bundle is depleted and there are no additional ad hoc discounted bundles available, the applicable out-of-bundle rate will apply.

  10. The data bundle expiry date for recurring discounted bundles will be valid for up to 60 days or until the last day of the following calendar month. Any unused data from this bundle upon expiry will be rolled over, free of charge for the next 30.

  11. Customers with an active recurring discounted bundle will be able to purchase unlimited ad hoc discounted bundles and non-discounted bundles.

  12. The price of the recurring discounted bundle will be pro-rated for the first month post activation if there is no existing recurring discounted bundle active.

  13. The recurring discounted bundles tariffs do not apply to data roaming.

  14. Vodacom may amend recurring discounted bundle prices by providing you with reasonable notice prior to any price increase.

  15. You will not be able to cancel your recurring discounted bundle purchase on My Vodacom App.

    1. In order to cancel the recurring discounted bundle, call 082 1940.

    2. You will be asked a few questions in order to verify you are the account-holder or cardholder.

  16. The customer will not be allowed to cancel if the recurring discounted bundle has been used.
