CAMPAIGN SUMMARY

Vodacom will gift a R500 or R750 Sorbet Voucher/Digital gift card to Customers who upgrade or sign-up to a specific Vodacom deal during the deal period = 8th May – 9th June 2025.

The free voucher offer will be available to Customers who upgrade or sign-up to any of the below devices during the 2025 May deal-period:

Vodacom reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and where such change is material, Vodacom will provide you with reasonable prior written notice before implementing such change.

REDEMPTION OF THE REWARD

Qualifying Customers will be sent a SMS with their Sorbet Voucher.

Vodacom reserves the right to extend or curtail the promotional period for any reason deemed valid.

  • Upon verification and activation of a new contract, the qualifying customer will receive communication in the form of an SMS to the activated Vodacom contract number.
  • Consumers will receive their unique SMS.

THE SORBET DIGITAL GIFT CARDIS GOVERNED BY THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • The digital gift cardis valid for 3 (three) year from date of issue.
  • Based on the qualifying device, the customer vouchers will be provided in either of the following denominations;
  • R750 (Seven Hundred Rand)
  • R500 (Five Hundred Rand)
  • The SMS gift card/voucher cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
  • No cashback will be given as change.
  • The gift card/voucher cannot be replaced.
  • For the in-store redemption – Sorbet will only accept digital digital gift card in the format of an SMS. The customer must present the SMS in a Sorbet Store at till point.
  • Sorbet will only accept the digital format on presentation of a South African ID or Driver’s license and the customer must present both the voucher/digital gift card number included in your SMS.
  • The customer will be required to present this SMS voucher/digital gift card as payment for their Sorbet purchases.
  • The voucher/digital gift card value will remain until the balance is either depleted or the expiry date is reached, whichever occurs first.
  • Purchases will be deducted from the voucher/digital gift card amount until the value reaches zero.
  • The voucher/digital gift card can be used at all Sorbet Branches.
  • The customer can check their remaining balance at any till point in a Sorbet store.
  • The balance reflecting on the Woolworths system is binding.
  • This voucher/digital gift card may not be used to make payments into any Sorbet Accounts, Clicks Accounts / loans, visa or master card accounts or utility account.

GENERAL

  • User data collected via the Promotion will not be used for any other purpose than for the execution of the Promotion only.
  • User data collected via entry to this Promotion will be stored for as long as it is legally required to and in accordance with Vodacom's Privacy Policy, http://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/terms/privacy-policy.
  • Should a qualifying customer not receive an SMS containing the voucher/digital gift card or have deleted the SMS, please contact 087 057 1255 for verification and for Vodacom to resend the unique promotional SMS. The original issue date of the SMS will apply, if a customer fails to redeem their Reward within the required validity period, they will forfeit their Reward.
  • The voucher/digital gift card will be awarded to the Vodacom number that was upgraded. 
  • This Promotion is only open to natural persons 18 (Eighteen) years and older. 
  • Neither Vodacom nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors, and any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming the gift card.
  • Vodacom reserves the right to terminate the Promotion immediately and without notice if the Promotion is held to be or becomes unlawful. In such event, all Customers hereby waive any rights which they may have against Vodacom and acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against Vodacom.
  • In the event of a dispute regarding any aspect of the Promotion and/or these Terms and Conditions, Vodacom's decision will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered.
  • Vodacom may refuse to give any digital gift card if the qualifying procedures or these Terms and Conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices. Vodacom is entitled in its entire discretion to reject /withhold any digital gift card for any reason and will not be obliged to notify customers that they are rejected.

GENERAL VODACOM ONLINE SHOPPING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These are the terms and conditions that apply when you order from us online (Online Shopping Terms). The Online Shopping Terms must be read together with the promotion terms and conditions that apply to the use of our website; www.vodacom.co.za.

  • When you buy goods from us online, you agree to these terms and conditions and that we may send invoices to you electronically

Goods and Pricing:

  • All goods displayed on our website are subject to availability. If any goods ordered by you are not immediately available or are not available at all, we will let you know as soon as possible.
  • The stated prices on our website are in South African Rands (ZAR).
  • We have made every effort to accurately display the goods specifically regarding their colour, description, and price. Please remember however that the colours that you see will depend on the device which you are using to access our website and we cannot guarantee that the goods when received will be the exact same colour as you have seen them. 
  • Please ensure that you or your authorised representative is available at the delivery address. If anyone other than the purchaser is accepting delivery of the goods at the delivery address, they are presumed to be authorised to accept the goods on your behalf. We may in certain instances require the person accepting delivery to produce a form of identification. On delivery, we will require that you or your authorised representative sign for the goods and fill in your or their name. 

Risk:

  • Risk on the goods will pass to you upon delivery of the goods to you or your authorised representative.

General:

  • We are entitled to amend these online shopping terms and conditions, at our sole discretion, from time to time.
