WHEN WILL THE VODACOM SHAKE!UP PROMOTION START AND HOW LONG WILL IT RUN FOR?
The Vodacom ShakeUp promotion will start on the 16th of October 2019, and it will run until the 30th of June 2020.
WHAT DO I DO IF I NO LONGER WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SHAKE!UP PROMOTION?
Should you wish to no longer participate in the ShakeUp promotion, you can opt-out via the following channels:
  • the My Vodacom App
  • WhatsApp (082 009 8624)
  • USSD (*133# or *135# and accessing the 'ShakeUp' menu and selecting the 'Opt-out' option)
When you opt-out of the ShakeUp promotion, you will:
  • no longer get daily free Shakes and prizes
  • no longer earn VodaBucks for completing goals
  • retain all VodaBucks earned and won as part of the promotion
  • keep all your prizes that you won through the promotion
  • keep any entries you’ve won into the Grand Prize draw
  • not be able to use your VodaBucks for a MegaShake or in the Digital Store until you opt back in
  • still receive communications regarding the promotion, unless you opt out of receiving SMSs for this promotion specifically
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I UPSIZE MY PRIZE WITH THE SHAKE!UP PROMOTION?
Every time you win a Vodacom data, voice or SMS bundle when you play your free daily Shake or MegaShake game, you will be offered the option to "Upsize Your Prize" by adding on an additional data, voice or SMS bundle at a discounted price.
You can only accept your Upsize offer when you win your prize, if you choose not to Upsize your Prize you will not be able to get these offers later (they will not be available via any other channel or store in the ShakeUp menu).
WHERE CAN I VIEW ALL THE PRIZES I HAVE WON WITH THE SHAKE!UP PROMOTION?
You can view all the prizes that you’ve won through the ShakeUp promotion via:
  • The My Vodacom App (under Prize History)
  • USSD (*133# and select “Prize History” option)
I WON A VOUCHER BUT I CANNOT FIND IT IN MY PRIZE HISTORY ANYMORE
Voucher rewards have variable validity and will expire. The expiry date of your voucher will be included in the SMS
HOW DO I COLLECT MY PRIZE?
If you win a prize that needs to be delivered to you, a Vodacom agent will contact you within 7 days in order to arrange delivery.
HOW DOES THE GRAND PRIZE DRAW WORK?
The Competition runs from 00h00 midnight on 20th October 2019(“start date”) and ends at 00h00 midnight on 20 January 2020(“end date”). Any entries received after the closing date will not be considered for the competition

Draws Date are as follows:
  • 12 November 2019
Entries that qualify:
16 October 2019 (00h00) to 11 November 2019 (23h59)

  • 2 December 2019
Entries that qualify:
12 November 2019 (00h00) to 1 December 2019 (23h59)

  • 21 January 2020
Entries that qualify:
2 December 2019 (00h00) to 20 January 2020 (23h59)
HOW WILL THE GRAND PRIZE AUDITING PROCESS WORK?
Million Megabytes draw process:
  • 1000 (one thousand) Lucky customers will win 1 million megs for 1 year
  • The winners will be randomly selected by means of an electronic random draw selection from all eligible entries which meet the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions.
  • Only entries received during the Competition period as stipulated in clause 1 above will qualify as potential winners
  • Allocation will be done on a monthly basis
  • First 11 months – 80 Gigs will be allocated per month
  • 12th month – 120 Gigs will be allocated
Car Draw process:
  • Independent auditors will select xx random draw winners
  • The first 10 customer numbers are selected and sent to be verified
  • If the verification is successful, the winning customer will be contacted directly and informed that they have won
  • If the first selected customer verification is unsuccessful, a second customer is selected and verified. This process continues until successful verification of customer
  • Customer is contacted and informed, they will be advised on the car handover process
  • The winning customer information is provided to the necessary Vodacom teams to make arrangements to deliver prize
Holiday Draw process:
  • Independent auditors will select xx random draw winners
  • The first 20 customer numbers are selected and sent to be verified
  • If the verification is successful, the winning customer will be contacted directly and informed that they have won
  • If the first selected customer verification is unsuccessful, a second customer is selected and verified. This process continues until successful verification of customer
  • Customer is contacted and informed, they will be advised on the car handover process
  • The winning customer information is provided to the necessary Vodacom teams to make arrangements to deliver prize
