1. What is Vodacom Add to Bill?

Vodacom customers can use their Vodacom Contract, Top Up and Prepaid mobile number to pay for content services such as video, music, games, sports and lifestyle. 


2. Why use Add to Bill?

Using your Vodacom account to pay for these services means you no longer need a credit card or have to share your banking details to access premium content.


3. How Add to Bill works

When you use your Vodacom Contract, Top Up or Prepaid mobile number to pay for services, the payment is added to your Vodacom Contract or deducted from your prepaid airtime.

It’s simple to use, safe and secure. 


4. How do I check what content services are being billed to my Vodacom account or airtime?

To view what content services are being charged on your Vodacom account, dial *135*997# and reply 1.

You can view the content services charged on your Vodacom account in the My Vodacom App, go to https://bit.ly/3if1lzJ. Select More on the menu and scroll to Content Services, select content services.


5. How do I stop my Vodacom number from being subscribed to content services?

To BLOCK your Vodacom number from being subscribed to content services dial *135*997#, reply 3.

You will receive an SMS confirmation that your number is now blocked for future content services purchases and subscriptions.

You can also BLOCK your number in the My Vodacom App. Go to https://bit.ly/3if1lzJ and select the block function at the bottom of the screen.


6. How do I cancel content services on my Vodacom number?

To cancel EXISTING content service subscriptions from your Vodacom number, dial *135*997#, and reply 1 to view content services that are currently charged to your Vodacom account.

If you would like to cancel a specific service, reply with the number of that service and reply STOP.

You will receive an SMS confirmation that the selected services have been cancelled and will no longer be billed to your Vodacom account.
To cancel all content services being charged to your Vodacom number, dial *135*997#, and reply 2 to STOP ALL. This will cancel ALL content services on your Vodacom number.



7. Why do I get an INSUFFICIENT FUNDS error when trying to purchase or subscribe to content services?

If you are a Vodacom Prepaid or Top Up customer, check your airtime balance to confirm that you have enough funds to pay for the service.

To add airtime to your Vodacom account, you can use:

a.     The My Vodacom app 
b.    Recharge using a Prepaid voucher or 
c.    Get Airtime Advance by dialling *135*082#


8. Why do I get a SPEND LIMIT error?

If you have a spend limit set on your Vodacom account, you will need to remove or increase your limit for the value-added services that you are allowed to add to your Vodacom account or airtime.  

To remove or increase your spend on your Vodacom account, contact Vodacom Customer Care on 082 135.


9. Can I use Add to Bill on my Vodacom data/IoT SIM number?

No, you will need to use your Vodacom Contract, Top Up or Prepaid mobile account for Add to Bill services.


10. I have Vodacom Fibre. Can I use this account for Add to Bill services?

No, you will need to use your Vodacom Contract, Top Up or Prepaid mobile account for Add to Bill services.
