Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data Promotion Terms and Conditions

General

1. Vodacom is offering a Double Data promotion for free to existing and new Vodacom Fibre Broadband customers that sign up for the Vodacom Fibre Broadband service during the promotional period.

2. The Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data promotion terms and conditions as detailed herein are subject to change from time to time upon reasonable notice to you.

3. The Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data promotion is subject to Vodacom Fibre terms and conditions that are available at www.vodacom.co.za/fibre.

4. Where there is any conflict between any other terms and conditions mentioned and the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data promotion specific terms and conditions, the last mentioned shall prevail.

Provision of Services

5. The Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data promotion applies to the customers that sign up for the Vodacom Fibre Broadband (20Mbps 50GB, 40Mbps 100GB and 100Mbps 200GB) service during the promotional period.

6. The Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data promotion is applicable to the following customers:

        6.1. All existing Vodacom Fibre Broadband customers that are active during the promotional period.
        6.2. All new Vodacom Fibre Broadband customers that are installed and become active during and after the promotional period.

7. The Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data promotion does not apply to Vodacom Fibre Broadband 10Mbps 20GB or Mount

Edgecombe uncapped customers or any other Vodacom Fibre Broadband uncapped promotions.

8. The Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data promotion does not apply to Vodacom Fibre Fixed Voice service.

9. Customers do not have to apply for the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data promotion and will automatically qualify for the promotion based on their Vodacom Fibre Broadband customer status.

10. The Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data allocation is equal to the customer’s Vodacom Fibre Broadband monthly data allocation.

11. An existing Vodacom Broadband customer that has been active before 1st of February 2016 will receive promotional data allocation equal to the monthly data allocation on 1 February 2016, 1 March 2016, 1 April 2016, 1 May 2016, 1 June 2016 and 1 July 2016.

12. New Vodacom Fibre Broadband customers who are installed (“activated”) during the promotional period will receive a monthly promotional data allocation as well as a once-off promotional data allocation as detailed below:

       12.1. All customers installed after the 1st of February 2016 and before 1st March 2016 will receive a double monthly allocation on the 1st March 2016, 1 April 2016, 1 May 2016, 1 June 2016 and 1 July 2016 as well as a once-off promotional data (equal to 1 x Vodacom Fibre Broadband monthly allocation) on the 1st of May 2016 valid for a period of 30 days.

       12.2. All customers installed after 1st March 2016 and before the 1 April 2016 will receive a double monthly allocation on the 1st April 2016, 1 May 2016, 1 June 2016 and 1 July 2016 as well as a once-off promotional data (equal to 2 x Vodacom Fibre Broadband monthly allocation) on the 1st of August 2016 valid for a period of 60 days.

       12.3. All customers installed after 1st April 2016  and before 1 May 2016 will receive a double monthly allocation on the 1st May  2016, 1 June 2016 and 1 July 2016 as well as a once-off promotional data (equal to 3 x Vodacom Fibre Broadband monthly allocation) on the 1st of August 2016 valid for a period of 90 days.

       12.4. All customers installed after 1st May 2016  and before 1 June 2016 will receive a double monthly allocation on the 1st June  2016 and 1 July 2016 as well as a once-off promotional data (equal to 4 x Vodacom Fibre Broadband monthly allocation) on the 1st of August 2016 valid for a period of 120 days.

       12.5. All customers installed after 1st June 2016  and before 1 July 2016 will receive a double monthly allocation on the 1st July  2016 as well as a once-off promotional data (equal to 5 x Vodacom Fibre Broadband monthly allocation) on the 1st of August 2016 valid for a period of 150 days.

      12.6. All customers installed after 1st July 2016  will receive a once-off promotional data (equal to 6 x Vodacom Fibre Broadband monthly allocation) on the date of installation valid for a period of 180 days.

13. Vodacom Fibre Broadband customers who have received the promotional data allocation at the beginning of a month will be allocated another promotional data allocation in that month if they upgrade or downgrade, but will forfeit the initial data allocations made at the beginning of that month.

14. Vodacom Fibre Broadband customers who have received the promotional data allocation at the beginning of a month who upgrade or downgrade after the promotional period has ended, will not receive any promotional data allocation however the once-off promotional allocation will not be forfeited.

15. The Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data allocation is valid for the calendar month in which it was allocated; i.e. the allocated data will expire at the end of the month of allocation.

16. There will be no carry-over of unused promotional data allocations to the month following the month of allocation.

17. The existing order of consumption will apply: data allocations that expire first will be consumed first.

18. The Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data allocation is not transferable or exchangeable.

Commencement and Duration

19. The Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data promotion will start from the 1st of February 2016 until the 1st of July 2016 (both days inclusive). 

20. The Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data promotional allocation will be valid for a period of 30 days, except under circumstances stated in Point 12 above relating to the once-off promotional data allocation.

Cancellation 

21. When a Vodacom Fibre Broadband service contract is terminated before the initial period, an early cancellation penalty will apply, equivalent to all of the remaining subscriptions due for the initial period.

22. A customer that cancels the Vodacom Fibre Broadband service contract during the promotional period will forfeit all data allocations including any Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data promotion allocations.

Service offering and pricing

23. The Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data promotion will be free of charge to qualifying customers.

Liability

24. Vodacom accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising out of the use of the Vodacom Fibre Broadband Double Data promotion, including loss or damage due to using the Internet and / or transferring files and content.
