Getting online with Vodacom Internet is easier than you think. You may already have a device to access the World Wide Web such as your cellphone. Vodacom ensures that you have a choice of access devices to choose including a Vodafone USB Modem, Vodafone Data Card, 3G and HSDPA Router.

MY CELLPHONE

Your cellphone's built-in GPRS/EDGE allows you to access the Internet via WAP, a simplified version of HTML that's optimised for cellphone usage. If you have a 3G or 3G HSDPA cellphone, you can access mobisites as well as traditional websites - just click on the browser icon on your cellphone.

Activate Internet via the Web:

• Register or log in to www.vodacom4me.co.za
• Click on My Devices
• Select "setup your phone"
• Follow the easy steps to set up your phone

Activate Internet via My Cellphone:

• Dial *111#
• Select "Device Setup"
• Follow the prompts
• Save your new WAP settings
• Establish an Internet connection

VODAFONE USB MODEM 7.2

With a small 3G HSDPA enabled portable device which slots into the USB slot of any desktop or laptop, you now only need one device for all your mobile broadband Internet access needs. 3G HSDPA technology was built to deliver throughput speeds of up to 7.0 Mbps for downloads, but expect to experience speeds between 3.5 Mbps and 5.2 Mbps - offering you instant Internet access with no waiting for installation!

Once the software is installed, either automatically via the Vodafone USB modem or from the included CD, the Vodafone dashboard allows you to easily:

Activate the Internet on the Vodafone USB modem with a Vodacom SIM card and your choice of mobile data contract package or data bundle.

Experience instant Internet anywhere, everywhere with the 3G HSDPA enabled Vodafone Data Card, a small device that clicks into any Express Card slot on your computer.

Each card comes with a CD to install our user-friendly Vodafone Mobile Connect dashboard.

The Vodafone dashboard allows you to easily:

• Manage your 3G Internet connection
• Send and receive SMS messages (charged at standard SMS rates)
• Monitor your data usage via the "usage counter"
