With Vodafone World, all destinations belong to 1 of 3 World Zones, with a fixed rate for Voice, SMS and Data in each zone. Vodafone World is the default roaming option for all Vodacom Contract, Top Up and Prepaid customers, which allows you to easily keep track of how much you're spending. - Use data to access the Internet, email and your company network (data roaming is currently only available to Vodacom Contract customers).

Roaming with selected Vodacom and Vodafone partner networks on Vodafone World also offers a further 10% discount on calls which are made locally in the country you are visiting, back to South Africa or to other international destinations. You also automatically qualify for Super-Saver Data rate of R17.50/MB on selected networks.

PLEASE REMEMBER: Accessing your voicemail (121), calling Vodacom's dedicated Customer Contact Centre (111) and receiving a call while travelling internationally is not free - you will be charged at the applicable World Zone call rates.
How to activate this option
Vodafone World is the default roaming option for all Vodacom customers once you've requested the basic International Roaming service to be activated on your account. There is no need for further activations once the basic International Roaming service has been activated.
