| With Vodacom's new TravelTalk service you as an international traveller, visiting South Africa, will no longer pay any additional roaming charge when you receive calls from other international travellers using TravelTalk and roaming on Vodacom's network - irrespective of the duration of the call. TravelTalk from Vodacom is a first in South Africa - calls made to International numbers roaming on Vodacom's network are routed in a more efficient way. This allows international visitors roaming on the Vodacom network to phone each other and save on the additional roaming rate of the call. As soon as you arrive in South Africa, connect to Vodacom's network and save on charges when someone calls you. You can still receive calls from anywhere, AND save money in the process. Except for roaming on Vodacom's network, the receiving party does not have to do anything to activate the TravelTalk service and receive calls for free on the "international leg" of the call. It is absolutely free to the receiver of the call; provided the caller is also roaming on Vodacom's network in South Africa. When someone phones you, using TravelTalk, you will not be charged for the "international leg" of receiving calls from Vodacom Contract customers or other international visitors roaming on Vodacom's network, irrespective of the duration of the call. When making a call to a friend, also in South Africa and roaming on Vodacom's network, use TravelTalk to save those costs. It's easy to use - by replacing the International dialling code with #0# followed by the recipient's number, for example, 4476678789123 should be dialled as #0# 4476678789123, instead of 00 4476678789123. The normal international call rate charge will apply for outgoing calls. |
