How does it work?

This service allows a Vodacom Contract customer to locate any other Contract, Prepaid or Top Up Vodacom cellphone number via their cellphone or the Internet, provided the user consents. Nobody may be located without having provided explicit consent for their cellphone number to be located.

How to use Look4me

When you dial *120*888# from you Vodacom cellphone you will be presented with a menu screen containing the following items:

1. Register
2. Find cell user
3. Name cell user
4. Who can find me?
5. Who can I find?
6. Reports
7. Block
8. Personal Settings

This is known as a USSD menu. To choose an option within the menu simply select "reply", enter the number of the item you wish to request, and select "Ok".

For example, should you wish to select "2. Find cellphone user" you would select "reply", type "2" and select "Ok". You will then be presented with the requested information.

The service is also available via the internet, SMS and WAP.
