What is it?

Vodacom has implemented protective measures to protect your children from being exposed to illegal and inappropriate adult content, including gambling, violent and sexually-based material. While all Vodacom subscribers have full access to adult content, Vodacom’s contract protector solution allows parents and sensitive viewers to block adult content accessed through a cellphone on the Vodacom network.

How do I get Vodacom Parental Control?
All Contract and Prepaid customers can bar access to adult content on a Vodacom cellphone by dialling *111*123# from the cellphone concerned.
To unblock the adult content restriction, visit your nearest service provider and provide your ID to prove that you are at least 18 years old. Unblocking of adult content cannot be done telephonically through Customer Care.
