Why should I use Contract Cover?

Vodacom Contract Cover pays your cellphone contract expenses, including Top Up in the event of death, disability and retrenchment. This cover is only for Contract holders between the ages of 18 and 63 years of age.

How much does it cost?

 

Please note: Pricing is based on individual Vodacom Contract Price Plans.

 

Please also note that all telephone call costs over and above “FREE minutes” used in the claims process must be settled by you, as well as any value added services in excess of R50.00 per month.

The Vodacom Contract Cover monthly premium can be added to your monthly cellphone bill, paid monthly in advance.

 

  • All telephone call costs over and above “FREE minutes”
  • Any Value-Added-Service in excess of R50 per month.

 

Contract subscriptions are paid for the remaining term of contract for:

Death – all outstanding subscriptions to Vodacom will be settled immediately on your behalf

Disability – whether total or temporary, if you are unable to perform your occupation as a result of the disability, your monthly subscriptions will be settled after the expiry of a one month waiting period. Payments will cease upon death, recovery and attainment at age 65 or contract expiry date.

 

Contract subscriptions are paid for up to six months for:

Retrenchment – settling monthly subscriptions due to Vodacom after the expiry of a one month waiting period, for a maximum of six monthly subscriptions.
