What is it?

Vodacom Mobi Jobs is a service that gives you access to over 20 000 jobs on your cellphone for FREE. You can create a mini resume, browse jobs and subscribe to the Vodacom Mobi Jobs SMS alerts to receive SMS notifications for jobs matching your profile. This service is available to all Vodacom customers.

How do I get Mobi Jobs?

There are two ways that you can access this service:

1. As a widget on Vodafone Opera Mini version 4.2 and 5.0

SMS OPERA to 31116 to download Vodafone Opera Mini
A WAP link will be sent to your cellphone
Click on the WAP link to download Vodafone Opera Mini
The Vodafone Opera Mini browser will then install
Mobi Jobs is a widget on Vodafone Opera Mini

2. Dial *120*5627# and follow the prompts

Once you’ve registered for the service, you will be able to:

Create a personalised profile
Search for jobs suited to your needs
Subscribe to weekly SMS alerts

How much does it cost?

Subscription to the Vodacom Mobi Jobs SMS alerts costs R7 once off and R5 for weekly recurring.
