Make the most of your minutes

With Vodacom Contract packages you can make the most of your time, because every minute counts.

Vodacom customers receive inclusive minutes per month for certain packages. Your inclusive minutes are available for up to five months, which means you have more time to make the most of your monthly minutes.

How does it work?

 

  • At the beginning of every month, you are allocated a number of seconds / minutes (determined by the tariff you have selected). If you don't use all your allocated seconds / minutes by the end of that month, these unused seconds / minutes are saved in a 'monthly bucket'.
  • The unused seconds / minutes in a specific monthly 'bucket' is valid for 6 months - after which it is forfeited (in the illustration - the January bucket will be forfeited at the end of June).
  • If you deplete all the seconds / minutes allocated for the current month, you will then start using seconds / minutes from the OLDEST monthly 'bucket' (in the illustration - January). Once you have depleted the oldest bucket, you will start using the second oldest 'bucket' (in the illustration - February), etc.
  • This means that you will use your allocation from oldest to newest (once you have depleted the current month's bucket).
  • Minutes are consumed from bucket 1 first, and then from bucket 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2.

    PLEASE NOTE: Free minutes can be used for local calls, voicemail retrieval, mobile faxes and dialup Internet connections (using CSD). Please note that this does not include GPRS and 3G data connections. Calls excluded from the free minutes include data calls to numbers starting with 082 23, 082 24 and 082 28; directory enquiries: 110/1023; international calls and premium rated numbers such as competition lines.
